What is changing?
Futurae announces the deprecation of Mobile SDK v2. This SDK version will be supported until it reaches End of Life. After EoL, Futurae will no longer provide maintenance, updates, or technical support for SDK v2.
When is this change happening?
SDK v2 will reach EoL on March 1st, 2026.
Does this change have any impact on my Futurae SDK integration?
Apps currently integrating SDK v2 will continue to work even after the EoL date. However, Futurae will no longer provide support or maintenance for this version.
We recommend customers to update their mobile applications to the latest SDK v3, which offers improved performance, enhanced security, and long-term support.
The instructions to migrate can be found in our SDK guides:
Important note for Android:
Starting November 1, 2025, Google Play will require all new app versions to support devices with a 16KB memory page size. For details, please visit Google’s official announcement: Prepare your apps for Google Play’s 16 KB page size compatibility requirement
After this date, Google Play will block the publication of new app versions that do not meet the 16KB page size requirement.
For details on compatible v2 and v3 Android SDK versions, see our article: Google Play’s 16KB Page Size Requirement and Futurae SDK Compatibility
