What is changing?
Starting January 06th, 2025, the feature User Presence Verification Reporting will be enabled for the Futurae App. This feature allows the identification and reporting of user presence verification mechanism performed to approve specific authentication requests. With this change, the response payload of Query Authentication Status as well as the authentication status callback payload will include a new attribute user_presence_verification
, containing the information about the user presence verification performed by the user to approve the authentication.
Why is this important?
With this feature, it will be possible to identify the user presence verification performed by the user to approve a specific authentication. The possible values that might be reported for the user_presence_verification
attribute are described in the response payload documentation of the endpoint Query Authentication Status.
Who will be affected by this change?
This change will affect customers who use the Futurae App as authenticator app for their Services.
Required Actions
No action is required prior to this change, as long as applications that integrate Futurae Authentication API, are able to gracefully handle the new field on the above described payloads.
