What is changing?
Starting August 31, 2024:
New Apps and App Updates: Must target Android 14 (API level 34) to be submitted to Google Play.
Existing Apps: Must target Android 13 (API level 33) or higher to remain available to new users on devices running Android OS higher than your app’s target API level.
Older Apps: Apps targeting Android 12 (API level 31) or lower will only be available on devices running Android OS versions the same as or lower than your app’s target API level.

SDK Apps
Please ensure your applications are updated in accordance with the Google requirements specified above to maintain their availability on the Google Play Store.
Apps developed by Futurae
Current Compliance: All apps developed by Futurae, available on the Google Play Store currently target Android 13 (API level 33). Therefore, they are not impacted by the current policy update.
Future Compliance: After September 1, 2024, all updates to existing apps and any new releases will be required to target Android 14 (API level 34). The Futurae team has proactively begun planning and developing new releases to ensure that all apps meet this upcoming requirement and remain in full compliance with Google policies.
